If you have to scheme to make ends meet, or if you have to spend time and attention looking after your possessions because they are so vast, then you are a slave to them, and you cannot be said to have established harmony in financial matters.
You must have enough money to be independent. You must not make money into a god or into a devil. You must never feel, "I should like to do that, but I cannot afford it." You must organize your life as you wish to live it, without reference to money at all. That is the freedom of the children of God.
When you are in this teaching your life will have a purpose and a meaning, and money will come into your life only to bring happiness. Money never brings trouble upon people when it comes through treatment; (prayer) it is a blessing to all concerned.
